My real desk is much, much worse.
Patrick Kane and the Blackhawks suffered another weird incident when he and his teammates were photographed shirtless in a limo with several unfortunate looking women. Luckily captain Jonathan Toews was not in the limo; he was back at the hotel staring at a wall with a serious look on his face.

I had an idea the other day. When the roster for the Russian Olympic hockey team was announced, it struck me how unrealistic it would be to have Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeni Malkin, * Maxim Afinogenov *, Pavel Datsyuk, and Ilya Kovalchuk on the same team in this day and age. As rosters are announced, I’m going to compare what the salary cap would have to be in order for the team to actually exist in the NHL. It will be interesting to see how this compares to how well teams perform in the Olympics this year.
