A sample of lift plans I have done.
First day with 3D Lift Plan - A collection of fairly simple drawings I completed the first day I had access to 3D Lift Plan. I didn't have my own account at this point so the "Drawn by" field contains someone else's name.
Lift video - This came about 2 weeks after the first lift plan. It's certainly not something 3D Lift Plan was designed to do. It was a bit labor intensive at first, but I've written a few computer programs that automate the process for me. The video is currently being used as a sales tool for potential customers.
Sample Lift Plan - This is a cleaned up version of the first lift plan that is used in conjunction with the lift video when selling to new clients. This includes a newer page I've designed for presenting ground bearing pressures in an easy to read layout. Previously we simply included a page listing the outrigger loads as a list of numbers without much explanation.
GOHDS Flare Seal Drum - This was a multiple step tilt-up lift at the ConocoPhillips refinery in Borger Texas. It involved multiple rigging configurations as the vessel first needed to be lifted from the trailer, placed on wooden mats for support, then the tilt-up portion after the rigging had been reconfigured.
FCC Seal Drum - Similar to the GOHDS flare seal drum, this lift took place at ConocoPhillips and required multiple steps to prepare the load for the final lift.
East/West Seal Drums - Another set of seal drums at ConocoPhillips that presented the unique of a very small area for the trucks to maneuver and still manage to fit between the two cranes. In the end our careful measurement and planning helped complete the lifts successfully. Not included in this file is a seperate drawing of the measurements of the concrete foundation.
The following 8 plans took place at ConocoPhillips and all involved a Manitowoc 999 in the same location in the refinery:
01 - KO Drum Skid
02 - Lower Separator Skid
03 - Upper Separator Skid
04 - Pipe Rack Module
05 - Liquid Cooler
06 - Water Skid
07 - Compressor Platforms
08 - Compressors
These plans were a bit more in-depth as far as carefully defining the rigging configurations as well as the ground bearing pressure from the crawler tracks against the mats used.
